I've noticed that OSINT is continuing to mature as an independent discipline in its own right, but public recognition of the true value of OSINT still has a way to go.

The trend of “adversaries” using OSINT tactics for running scams or evading capture.
Any favorite tool or technique that you tried in 2021?
I learned how to create an AIS Pi for tracking and spoofing signals for maritime research. And one of my all time favorite tools is hunter.io
How do you see the OSINT landscape changing in 2022?
I see more companies embracing OSINT and OSINT analytics. I think the field will continue to grow with new analysts and this will allow seasoned analysts to have more specialized OSINT roles.

This is such a great field that is growing so fast. Many companies are beginning to figure out how OSINT can benefit them which means lots of opportunities for newcomers.
